CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Updated 3/28/20
WE ARE OPEN WITH MODIFICATIONS
To our valued campers:
The world is rapidly changing in response to COVID-19, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak. As always, USI RV Park feels that the health and safety of our community and our employees is our number one priority.
In light of recent events and protocol, we are modifying our business practices for the foreseeable future based on CDC guidance and statewide mandatory restrictions. As the situation rapidly evolves, we will continue to take the necessary steps to ensure that we are acting accordingly and keep our customers informed every step of the way.
During your stay with us, we would ask that you follow the CDC, federal, local, and state guidelines during this emergency. You are the primary person responsible for your own preparedness in this time of COVID-19. We cannot guarantee anyone’s safety from any virus or sickness during a visit to USI RV Park. This means you accept this risk for yourself and those you are visiting with.
Until further notice, the following changes are in place:
RV sites are available, but we will be monitoring the occupancy between each site. Upon check-in, park staff may provide alternatives to encourage additional spacing.
You should be practicing physical distancing while you are here for your safety and the safety of those around you. For camping purposes, this means to stay at your site or in close proximity to your RV unless you are traveling to or from the office or walking around the park. This means you MUST have a working bathroom in your RV, or you cannot camp here. Between uses, we will spray a bleach solution on the full hook-up areas. The main Restroom/Showers are closed to the public. If you must use a restroom please come to the office and an employee will unlock the office restroom for you. The restroom will be cleaned daily. Touchpoint areas such as soap dispensers, door handles, faucets, toilet paper dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and bathroom stall doors will be wiped down and disinfected.
Laundry hours – laundry facilities are open 24 hours. Laundry areas will be cleaned every day.
No grouping at your campsite. Max number of people at each site is 10.
We are wiping down all touchpoints throughout the park on a regular basis. It is still up to you to protect yourself by bringing your own gloves and personal hand sanitizer. We’re sorry, but we cannot provide you with any of our supplies.
Registration – we will be limiting the interaction between registration staff and our guests. Please keep your distance and minimize any direct interaction with our staff.
If you need to contact our reservations office during this time, our office will be open 9 AM – 6 PM. If you are looking to book a future stay, we encourage you to book by calling us at (316) 838-8699 or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
We’ll continue to share updates and stay connected through email and social channels during this time.
At this time, we are canceling all events until April 30th. We will reevaluate at that time in accordance with CDC and governmental regulations.
We are deeply saddened by this change in our operations and hope to be back to business as usual in the near future.
Be well, and take care of one another.
Keith and Sheila Wagner
